Users are complaining of random crashes in third-party application.
crash dump revieled access violation exception in ActualMultipleMonitorsShellExtension64+0x118f7
it is trying to write to static data of one of the modules of the application

00000001`054b18f7 c6042510954e0501 mov     byte ptr [<module_name_hidden>!_unep?_UninitializeDefaultDomainLanguageSupport<CrtImplementationDetails>$$FCAJPEAXZ+0x103ad8 (00000000`054e9510)],1 ds:00000000`054e9510=38

Windows 7 pro
Third party application is 64bit which I would prefer not to name in public forum. It is a mixture of native/managed code.

Any advice is welcome.

Hello, Yury

Quote
Users are complaining of random crashes in third-party application.
Could you try to reinstall Actual Multiple Monitors, disable the "Additional items in the Desktop context menu" option during the installation process and see whether it solves the problem. Let us know the results.

Could you also send us the crash dump files to uninstall@actualtools.com.

Best regards.

Thanks Bogdan,
I will resinstall as advised.

I cannot send the dump as it might contain confidential information.
However, I can provide output from commands you give me for windbg.

Regards,
Yury.
