With AMM running, my computer would momentarily freeze every 5 seconds. This even happens if I pause AMM. Only way to stop it is to actually quit AMM.
Here are some tests of this:
- Quickly move the cursor in a circle. Mouse will freeze/lag every 5 seconds.
- Play a youtube video. Video will freeze every 5 seconds. It seems to be a display-only issue as the audio doesn't skip.
What exactly is running on a 5 second loop even when AMM is paused?
AMM 8.13.1
Windows 10 v1703, Build 15063.1324

Hello, badbob001

Please see whether the "Bind the layout to the desktop geometry" option is enabled (AMM configuration module > Layout and Snap > Windows Layout > Bind the layout to the desktop geomtery), and if it is, then disable it and press Apply. See whether it solves the problem.
Best regards.

That was it! I read many posts about similar issues and lost hope when an actual cause was not found. I even tried AMM on another system and found the same issue. I guess 'pausing' AMM doesn't pause this feature. Thanks!

badbob001,
I was unable to reproduce the problem on the latest Windows 10 version 1803 build 17134.285.
What is your monitors layout and what intefaces you use to connect them to the computer (HDMI, DVI etc.)? Do you use USB video adapters or docking station?
Could you also provide your computer's specifications (CPU model, graphics card etc.)?
Best regards.
