The wrench icon overlaps the maximize icon, so I can't use the latter. How do I get this to display properly?
Also, how do you paste a picture into this post (don't want to use a link)?
I have v8.9.2 and windows 10 on a surface pro.

You can attach a picture file via the "Load image for this message" option in the bottom part of the Reply section (right above the Reply and View buttons).

Normally, the extra title buttons should not overlap the native buttons, but if it happens with some windows, common workaround in this case is to use the "Shift the buttons horizontally" option in the settings which are applied to this window (Default Settings or particular Specific Settings > Title Buttons > Shift the buttons horizontally).
What programs do you have this problem with?
Do you mean, you're running Actual Window Menu 8.9.2?
Best regards.
