Okay, I have been trying this software now for several days. When it works, it's great. When it doesn't then it becomes a pain in the a$$.
I believe that everything is configured correctly because sometimes when I open a program it has the correct settings applied. Other time though, having made *no* changes to AWM configuration, the program will open with 'Default Window Rule' settings.
I am running WinXP Pro SP2. Can someone put me on the right track towards getting this resolved?

Can you tell me what program has this problem and that settings (Window Caption, Window Class, Program) do you use to identify this program?
Sincerely,

Almost *ALL* programs exhibit this behavior. Sometimes they will work, sometimes not. That was the point I was trying to make earlier. This does not happen to just 1 or 2 programs.
As far as settings are concerned, Jesus, it would take me days to write all that down. Is there some sort of file that I could send to you?

Yes, please send us the configuration file of Actual Window Manager at
support@actualtools.com
. It's name is actualwindowmanager.ini and it is located at C:\Program Files\Actual Window Manager\ folder.
Sincerely,

I just wanted to let the group know that after sending the above mentioned .ini file to Michael he worked his magic and things are now working as expected.
This problem has been successfully solved!
