I am trying the trial version of Windows Guard before buying to see if this can be done.
Basically I want IE to open on start-up, maximized, and stay open (on Windows 10). I added IEXPLORE to Global Start-up and also to the Specific Settings (confused as to what the difference is - specific settings also has a start up section).
Is there any step by step guide for anyone who has got this to work?
Thanks

Hello, Daniel

Do you want IE to open on Windows 10 startup? Actual Window Guard don't provide this ability, but you can easily do this using the Windows 10 settings.

and stay open (on Windows 10).
Could you clarify what you mean? Do you need the window to ignore any attempts to close it or to minimize it?

I added IEXPLORE to Global Start-up
Do you mean Global Options > Start Program? It's not a list of the programs that will open on any startup, it's a list of the Pre-defined shortcuts for the "Start program" title button.
Specific Settings are the settings that are applied to special program/window/group of windows defined in the Target Window section of the settings. Startup section of specific settings contains the actions that are applied to the program/window/group of windows upon its startup.
Best regards.
