I just recently acquired a lovely 34" ultrwide monitor. This means I now work with the lid on my laptop closed. Since I started doing that, when I start puTTY, the window simply blinks out of existence. If I pause AWM, the window reappears. I have made sure that I deleted all of my dual-monitor settings for puTTY.

Hello, Timothy
Does it happen only when the lid is closed? Could you open the lid and open PuTTY on the laptop display and then on the external display? Does the problem appear?
What OS are you running (name, 32- or 64-bit)?
What are the versions of PuTTY and Actual Window Manager?
Best regards.

Bogdan.
I'm running a mirrored display, however, when I opened the lid and did the same on my internal monitor it did the same thing.
Win 10 Prerelease 14915-16082 (current Fast Ring)
AWM v8.9.1
puTTY v0.66

Timothy,
I was unable to reproduce the issue.
The window that disappears - is it the PuTTY Configuration window?
Could you try to temporarily change the Multiple Monitors mode from "duplicate" to "extend displays" and see whether the problem still persists in this mode.
Also send us your configuration files using the Send to Tech Support tool (Configuration module > Tools > Configuration > Send to Tech Support). Please add a link to this topic to the email.

Bogdan,
It is the configuration window, however, if I pause AWM and then open a terminal window, that too is affected.
I am seeing the same behavior on both duplicate and extend.

Hello, Timothy
I'm unable to open the specific settings for Putty. Are you able to open them?
Could you disable the current specific settings, and create new one with the same settings but without "\" symbols in the settings name. Does the problem still persist? If it does, then send us the configuration files again.
Best regards.

Bogdan,
I deleted all puTTY specific settings when this started occurring.

It's strange, because i see the Specific Settings for PuTTY (named "\home\tig") but can't open them. Do you mean you don't see the specific settings named "\home\tig"?
Could you open the log window then to see what settings are applied to the PuTTY window? Please do the following: go to AWM context menu (right click on the AWM tray icon) > Show log window > Check the Enable logging option > If there are any items in the window then Right click on the Window are and Clear log item > Start PuTTY - the corresponding item will appear.
What parameters does this item have (Rule name, window class etc)?

So this is a head-desk moment for me....
I did delete the settings, but it looks like I did not click the apply button. Now that I have done BOTH, things are working as they should.
I apologize for wasting your time.
