I am having an issue where CS:GO keeps kicking me and the only logs that i have are due to AMM
I have ran all of the troubleshooting with Steam and i still get the issues.

They are pointing the issue to a 3rd party software which is amm.

Please help!  I really dont want to rebuild my machine and not use AMM

Thanks

VAC tends to dislike anything with an overlay.  This is to stop people from using cheat software that overlays graphics on top of the game such as player position and false cross hairs.

I am not sure if there is a portion of AMM that has an overlay, but that would be the 1st place i would look.

Hello, gentlemen

Pat, could you send us a screenshot of VAC error message you get?

Does it happen every time right after you start the game?

Are you using the Ignore Deactivation feature for CS:GO? Does it happen when you don't use this feature?

Have you tried to exclude the CS:GO window from processing by Actual Multiple Monitors? What is the result?

Best regards.

it does not start immediately. I have had days where i can play 2 games or even 3 and then during something simple like jumping or buying equipment i get kicked.

Not sure what the ignore deactivation feature is ...

I have cs go listed in my exclusion
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo.exe
there is a checkmark in window class (maybe thats the issue ? )

I have tried to completely uninstall AMM and i was still getting the issue which makes no sense.
The real issue is that this was a newly imaged machine which worked perfect and after installing AMM the issue started.

Thanks

Pat,

If the problem appears when AMM is not started or when it was even uninstalled from your computer, then the problem is not associated with AMM.

Have you restarted the computer after uninstalling AMM? Try to restart it and see if the problem appears.

What exactly logs are you talking about? Could you send us the text of these logs?

Best regards.

very odd , steam had me send them logs all the time and it pointed back to amm but ill double check. I honestly stopped playing for months because it was driving me insane

I sent the logs using msinfo32 based off of their automated support
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1376-WTZN-9132

ill spend some time after work playing again and ill send the logs if that helps.

I have a feeling i may just need to rebuild my machine again :-(

Hello, Pat

Did you send logs to Steam in form of the file of the same type as you provided it us?

Did you have AMM running when the problem happened this time?

Do you mean the problem doesn't happen when AMM is not started?

I did not send these to steam at least not this time.
AMM is running so ill have to try it with it turned off.

originally the issue happened even if i uninstalled amm but the last time i contacted steam they stated it was amm that was causing the issue.

I will try the following:

-contact steam again

-amm disabled
-log

-amm uninstalled
-log
