I don't know what version this problem started with, but I've been seeing it for months, and I'm still seeing it in AMM 8.2.2 (under Win7 Pro x64):

I have 3 monitors, and frequently run RDP client sessions in full screen mode on the secondary monitors. Often (but not always) when I start a new full screen RDP session on a secondary monitor, or move it to a secondary monitor, the AMM taskbar on the secondary monitor doesn't disappear, and continues to sit over the RDP session, hiding the RDP session's taskbar.

If I move the RDP window to the main monitor, the Windows 7 taskbar disappears as it should. But when I move the RDP window back to either secondary monitor the AMM taskbar still sits on top. Normalizing and maximizing the RDP window doesn't fix the problem either.

But often after I work on something else for a while (say, 30 minutes), I return to the RDP session and find the AMM taskbar hidden, as it should be -- the problem has fixed itself.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Good day

Could you please specify if you are using standart windows RDP tool or other software? Also, tell us,please, resolution of all three monitors?
Moreover we need two or three screenshots from you.First one is the screenshot of our context menu of our taskbar-move cursor on one of monitors which use Actual Multiple Monitors taskbar,right-click on an empty space in the multi-monitor taskbar and make a screenshot of it.The second one is the screenshot of the settings of our taskbar-open Actual Multiple Monitors-Multiple Monitors-Taskbar and make a screenshot or two which will show all the settings.

Any questions?Mail to support@actualtools.com!

Hello,

The RDP client is Microsoft's mstsc.exe 6.3.9600.16415. I've emailed the requested screenshots to support@actualtools.com.

Thanks.

Hello John,

Unfortunately, we’re still unable to reproduce the problem.

Could you check whether the problem persists if you try to use the “Fullscreen” item (right mouse button click on the RDC’s title bar -> Fullscreen) instead of the standard Maximize button on your secondary display?

Could you also send us screenshots of RDC’s fullscreen window from the secondary display with Actual Multiple Monitors loaded and without?

Are you using the same DPI for all displays?

Best regards.
