I've been trying out some software to start some video editing and noticed that AWM doesn't play nice with products from MAGIX Software.
And in particular:
Magix Movie Edit Pro 2015 Plus
Magix Video Pro X6
When starting up and setting up a new project it will hang. It says its checking for updates but i'm guessing it hangs because the previous step was to setup the UI. When i quit and restart with AWM disabled it will boot up nicely.
I've tried setting rules for the app to force it on a certain monitor or nothing at all but i didn't get it to work. It will always hang.
To test yourself you can just download the Trials and run them (and yes they take a while to install). I've had the issues on Windows 8.0, 8.1 and Windows 10 (but even compatibility mode to Win 7 doesn't help)

Any solutions or suggestions are welcome and i can also make you a recording if you cannot replicate.

Good day,Martin
I have just tested both programs on Win 8.0 (yes, they take pretty much time to install). Your problem has been confirmed and we will work to fix it in next patches.
Thank you for your patience.
Have a nice day!
