(Please disregard this second message. I discovered that my comment here was due to the way I'd setup a rule in Actual Window Guard.)

The discussed issue seems to be fixed in the last (4.5) version of Actual Tools: having two properly customized specific rules for document instances and e-mail message instances of Word works as expected.
