Sometimes when I open the Skype main window (version 3.1.0.152), the title buttons from the default rule are not drawn - but if I hover over where they should be, I get the tooltips and if I click, I get the functionality! Something will eventually cause them to be drawn (e.g. opening a menu) and once they're there, they stay put.

I've checked the described issue with the
Skype 3.2.0.152
and
AWM 4.5 beta 2
- unfortunately, it's not confirmed.

Alexey, please see attached - Skype 3.2.0.175 and AWM 5 Beta 1. The title buttons are not visible, but functional and still produce tooltips as you can see.
Cheers,
Dave.

David, it seems there's something else on your machine that produces this problem: I have updated my
Skype
just now to
3.2.0.175
and checked the described issue with
AWM 5.0b1
- no problem at all! Sorry. Maybe, you should turn on the logging and see what happens when you open
Skype
.

Alexey, could you confirm this on your setup after a cold boot? Its fairly laborious I know, but it
appears
to only happen first time round, and once the buttons have been displayed, they stay displayed. On my setup, I can generate them by doing something like Help->About in Skype.
Now I'm no expert, but looking at the log file (I'll email it to you separately) it would appear that there isn't a new window event until I open the About window, which I guess might explain it. Perhaps Skype creates its main window when it loads and hides it, and as I have Skype loading at startup, if that were to happen before AWM, I guess AWM would never get chance to intercept the window. I can also confirm that no new events are added to the AWM log when I repeatedly open and close the Skype main window.
I'm just speculating now as I don't know exactly how AWM works, but maybe it will give you something to go on.

In fact, just as a quick test, I quit Skype and reloaded it - Alexey you'll see from the 2 logs that Skype seems to do a whole lot more on loading than on just opening its main window once its loaded. Hope that helps.

OK, I will check it on my side as you suggested and report here.
