It ran fine for about 1 hour, when I tried to run a .avi video file and maximize to the current screen it started turning off and on the USB Displink monitor every 10 seconds or so.
I have to uninstall this program, as rebooting did not solve the problem. But the .avi file was on a USB hard drive, and both the monitor and hard drive were connected to the laptop using a Belkin 4 port powered usb extender. I unplugged the hard drive and it seemed to solve the problem of cycling between the two monitors by turning off the Displaylink one.
