In actual multiple monitors, when I restore icon order, an error appears "Exception EAccessViolation in module ammemb64.dll" ect. For full message, see attached image. When the message's "OK" button is clicked, the icons ALL disappear fr om the desktop. That is, there are no icons on any of the screens. Also, the task bar on the main screen will not display. And all of the start buttons are disabled. After rebooting, the icons are restored.
The reason I am "restoring" icon order is that I unplugged my extra monitors in order to move the laptop, and now that the lap top is back and all screens are connected, all of the icons are still displaying on the main screen. I am hoping that restoring the icon order will put icons back wh ere they were.
