Hello!
I am using a registered version of Actual Multiple Monitors, the version is 5.1.1 on Win7 6.1 build 7601 sp 1 with two monitor setup.
Quite often a blank icon/button appears in the task bar. That blank icon has collected one or more different program's icons/buttons behind it. This blank icon's title is Desktop Windows Manager. This happens on both, the primary and the secondary monitors occasionally. On the attached screen capture DWM has 'captured' Command Prompt's and Citrix Receiver's icons/buttons
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
Best Regards,
Ari

Hello Ari
Are the same programs' icons always captured by this icon?
Have you noticed what actions lead to this?
Could you right click the empty space of the taskbar, select the debug item and send us a screenshot of the opened window?
Best regards.

Hello!
Thank you for your reply!
Some programs that have been affected are MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Mozilla Firefox, Command prompt, and others.
I haven't noticed any pattern that would lead into this happening.
Could you please clarify me, where would I find this Debug-option? When I right click on the taskbar, I only get menu in the attached screen shot.

Oh, I used the search function of this forum, and thus was able to find, that you need to hold down <shift> while right clicking. Now I am able to get the debug-option to appear. I'll grab a screen shot the next time DWM steals the windows again.
Best Regards,
Ari

Yes you need to hold Shift pressed while right clicking to see the debug item, sorry for my inaccuracy.
Best regards.

Hello.
I replaced my laptop, haven't had this problem ever since.
