This seems to be happening more and more.  My secondary bars the icons will start disappearing, meaning they were there at the beginning when I started the application.

If I switch the application to the main bar and then back the icon will come back sometimes.  If I hover over it I can see the application icon correctly.

Here are some images of the problem:

Also, I am running the latest version, I removed my name from the about screen:

If there is a simple way to resolve this please let me know.

Thanks.

Hello Nole Dude.

what OS (version, 32 or 64-bit) are you running?

What applications (names, versions) have you noticed this problem with?

Best regards.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I have seen the problem with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, VMWare Workstation, Windows Explorer windows that is all of the ones I can remember right off the top of my head.

Thanks.

Ok, thanks a lot, because it appears to be happening with applications I have developed using Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 as well:

Lastly, I am not sure if this is permanent workaround or not, but if I enable preview thumbnails it seems to resolve my problem in just my limited time of testing:

If I see the problem again with this setting selected I will let you know.

To update my last post the icons still disappear, but re-checking that property "Enable preview thumbnails" it runs some method that makes the icons visible again for a while.
