I have recently started to use Ignore Deactivation when watching something in a media player embedded in a separate Firefox window. What I did notice is that Ignore Deactivation works, except when I am using another Firefox window that is open on the other monitor. If I click on the other Firefox window, then the first window playing the videostream returns to its normal size again. Is this something to be expected because I am using the same program, but in 2 separate windows? If so, is this something that you can fix? Some videostreams I can only watch in my browser and not in a media player, so I will face this issue regularly.

I am using Vista Ultimate 32-bit, AWM 6.8 beta 1 and Firefox 9.0.1.

Thanks for your reply.

Hello Pim,

Thanks for the post.

Could you clarify what media player embedded in a Firefox window are you writing about?

Best regards.

Hello Vasiliy,

It happens with all media players, e.g. Windows Media Player, Silverlight and also Flash (f.i. on YouTube). This behaviour seems to point to Firefox not being able to handle Ignore Deactivation well in the situation described.

Best regards.
