As of version AWM 6.7.1, Ignore Deactivation no longer works. I have never been able to get it to work with the hotkey, but now selecting it as a startup option no longer works either.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for the post.
What applications do you have the problem with?
What OS are you running (version, x32 or x64)?
Best regards.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
ANY game I try and run full screen fails to launch (rFactor, ARCA Sim Racing, Race07, GT-Legends, GTR2, etc). These ALL worked before as long as I had the Ignore Deactivation box checked in the Specifications Startup for each application. And to reiterate, I have NEVER been able to get the hotkey to work.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for the response.
Does Ignore Deactivation feature work correctly with these games in the 6.7 version of Actual Window Manager?
Best regards.

I just reinstalled back to v6.7 and it DOES work correctly in this version. Again, the hotkey doesn't work, even if I change the hotkey to something really obscure, but enabling Ignore Deactivation on the program Startup options itself does work.
Installing 6.7.1 again reintroduces the problem with it not working again.

Why doesn't the hotkey work? Am I doing something wrong? That hokey IS enabled. I've never been able to get it to work on anything I do. I'd like to be able to turn it off at times when I need to see the whole desktop.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for the response.
I've installed rFactor v1.255 and Specific settings with the "Ignore deactivation" feature enabled work correctly with both Actual Window Manager 6.7 and Actual Window Manager 6.7.1.
rFactor blocks hotkeys (even standard alt+F4 and winkey).
Thats why the "Ignore deactivation" feature can not be activated with this game via hotkeys.
What version of rFactor do you use?
Could you send me your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support)?

- Could check whether the "Ignore deactivation" feature works correctly (via hotkeys) on your machine with a game with a "standard" behavior (like Plants vs. Zombies)?
Best regards.

Well, I'm using rFactor 1.255, but remember I was testing with half a dozen other games I use as well and those all stopped working after installing 6.7.1. It's not just rFactor.
Makes sense about rFactor blocking hotkeys, except that would mean that other programs that I regularly use like Teamspeak3 and Ventrillo would not work, but they do. Again, makes sense, but does't really add up.
I'll send out my log files when I get home tonight.

Never got around to sending support files.
However, good news is that after installing 6.7.2, Ignore Deactivation is working again. Maybe I just had a bad installer or something. ???
So, now back to the hotkey...
rFactor does NOT block hotkeys. I use programs with hotkeys outside rFactor all the time. Teamspeak3, Ventrillo, Wingman Game Tools, etc. What do we need to do to see what's blocking that hotkey from working?
In the mean time I'll try and install some other games that I can test it with.
