I have Win 7 SP1 x64 with latest paid version of AMM.

I have carefully saved icon positions using the AMM menu choice for EACH resolution.

However when I undock my laptop or remote desktop changes resolution of my machine, icons do NOT restore position properly.

I have to manually choose to restore all the time.

Related to this, it seems like the saved icon position info is wrong lots of times.
Cant determine if this is a SAVE bug or a restore bug

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the post.

Actual Multiple Monitors doesn't have the "Automatically restoring icons position" option.

Could you install Actual Multiple Monitors 3.2 beta 2 ( http://www.actualtools.com/hfiles/amm32b2.exe ) and check whether this problem still persists or not?

Best regards.

Thanks.

Beta 2 seems to be doing better for icon positioning saves.

No auto-restoring icon positions upon resolution change in AMM? That would explain it..

Is this feature available in any of your other products?
This problem is driving me crazy. Every time I enable my secondary monitor, icons go wandering all over.
If I termserve in, icons move.

Actually, I think Windows must have an built-in scheduled task that makes icons move. Its like playing whack-a-mole.

There is not.
