Hi,

I am using Actual Multiple Monitor and it constantly messes up with acrobat reader x. After some searching and page navigation on pdf documents, it becomes impossible to move through pages and also to switch to other open pdf documents.  The only solution is to close acrobat reader from the task manager and reopen all pdf files again!

I have even tried to disable the 'protection mode' of acrobat. This has helped with showing the Actual Multiple Monitor menubar icons which did not appear on Acrobat Reader windows before but didn't help with the problem above.

The spec of my system are as follows:
Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise
Acrobat Reader X and Acrobat Professional 9
Actual Multiple Monitor 3 (recently upgraded to 3.1 but the problem is still there).

Thanks,
Mehrdad

P.S I should also add that I have several different pdf documents open at the time the problem occurs.

Hello Mehrdad,

Thanks for the post.

Could you add Adobe Reader to the list of exclusions of Actual Multiple Monitors and check whether the problem still persists or not?

Please, inform me about your results.

Best regards.

I added it to the exclusions list and so far I have had no problems and it works fine!

An update on the issue: I have noticed that Acrobat Pro 9.3 that I am using works with no problem with Actual Multiple Monitors. It is basically Acrobat Reader X 10 that is problematic. Actually I think that Acrobat Reader X is basically very unstable in itself even without using Actual Multiple Monitors; although when I am running Actual Multiple Monitors it crashes quite more often and badly.
