Only the desktop itself is affected.
With AMM running (v2.3) it takes 3 extra seconds for icons to appear on the desktop. If I copy a file right next to itself or if I copy a file into the desktop folder or copy a file from anywhere else to the desktop. This is very annoying because if I'm copying data from a source location to the desktop, that app is being forced to wait and wont continue until the icon shows up on the desktop. The same thing happens if I copy to the desktop folder. Any other folder is not affected.
If I close AMM the problem goes away. Start AMM again and the problem returns.

Dear Justin,
Sorry for the delay with the reply. Please, specify some more details on the problem:
1) What version of
Windows
do you use?
2) What security software (anti-virus, firewall, etc.) do you use?
3) Do you use any other 3rd party utilities along with
Actual Multiple Monitors
?
