Actually, i wrote about window menu items, not about title buttons. Anyway, there is other way to exclude a window: go to Configuration module > Window Settings > Exclusions and press the Add new exclusion button (the button with the green plus symbol). Click the newly created exclusion so that it's settings are displayed in the settings section. Then drag the crosshair to the Firefox window and release it - Window class and Program fields will be filled automatically with the Firefox window values. Then just uncheck the Window class parameter and press Apply. All Firefox related windows will be excluded.

Best regadrs.

Hello Bogdan,

I tried what you suggested. Unfortunately it didnt fix my problem. I also deleted Firefox and installed it back. Also rebooted my PC, but the error still persist. Maybe something in the system of AWM that is causing this?

Regards,
Kevin

Seems like you have non standard DPI settings (Display settings > "Change the size of text, apps..." option) for the secondary monitor. Could you set this option to 100% and check whether the problem still presists.

Hello Bogdan,

Indeed, I am using overall 125% DPI for both monitors. If i use 100% for both, my desktop looks so tiny and i cant deal with it. Since my secondary monitor is 1366 x 768 and my primary monitor is 1920 x 1080 , they dont go well together on 100%. On 125% everything is fine.

I tried changing it back to 100% as you suggested and voila, it worked. All my issues was gone. I changed it back to 125% and the error was back. I think it is a bug in AWM that doesnt know how to deal with 125% perhaps?

Also sometimes i use overall 124% DPI , because that is the most ideal DPI for both monitors for my desktop and icons.

Also this error still ony persist on Firefox. On every other browser, everything is fine. I guess its a rare bug.

Could you please push an update for AWM with a fix for overall 125% DPI and 124% DPI on a 1366 x 768 monitor with the taskbar error fixed?

Would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,

Unfortunately, we weren't able to reproduce the issue yet. Probably, we'll need some additional information. I will let you know.

Kevin,

Do you mind installing the custom build of Actual Window Manager, which could help us to track the issue by collecting the additional technical information?

You can download the custom build of AWM here.

Install the build, enable the "Collect usage statistics" option (either during the installation or after the installation in the Configuration module > Options > General). Then launch AWM, reproduce the issue and while the taskbar is over the fullscreen Youtube video, open the AWM tray icon context menu, select the "Log Z-Order item".

Then find the CenterEvents.log file (placed here: %AppData%\Actual Tools\Actual Window Manager\CenterEvents.log) and send it to us. Add a link to this topic to the email.
