Andy,

I'm sorry but the package you sent recently missed the most important information we need - the monitors.log file, which contains the information about your video hardware configuration.

To create this file, please open the AMM Configuration and click the User added an image button. Although you don't have an e-mail account there, the preparation procedure will create the required file anyway so that you will be able to send it then manually.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello a p,

There are some changes in the 7.0 version of Actual Window Manager regarding this problem.

Could you install Actual Window Manager 7.0 and check whether the problem still persists or not?

Best regards.

couple questions then....

1. if i decide to go back to 6... whatever, will i be able to retrieve all my settings or do i need to create a special backup of everything first?

2. if i find out it does solve my issues, does this mean I'll need to fork over more money?  I just bought 6... within the last few months.

Thanks.

Settings change neither on upgrading nor on downgrading.

Hello Vasiliy and Bogdan,

I can confirm that this behaviour still exists in AWM 7.0. I have tested MaxiVista about a week ago, and also had a different numbering in AWM compared to Windows. I had my regular monitor, a MaxiVista monitor and another monitor that was not connected but shown in the monitor setup screens as included by a p in the beginning of this thread (the last monitor I use regularly as my 2nd monitor, but not this time).

As this was my first encounter with this issue and I never have this issue when I have 2 monitors hooked up, I think this problem only exists when more than 2 monitors are connected.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the situation, because I uninstalled MaxiVista, as it did not work well via WLAN. Because I do not use MaxiVista anymore I am not troubled by this bug right now. But I do however want to let you know that this bug has not been solved in AWM 7.0.

Best regards.
