Hello Mike,

Thanks for the message.

What OS are you running?

What version of Visual Studio do you use?

Best regards.

I too am seeing Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio disappearing from the taskbar.

Win 7 32bit.
VS 2010
SSMS 2008 R2

If I stop and start the AMM then the icons reappear on the Windows taskbar but won't move to AMM when I move the app to the second monitor.

Hello CodeWzrd,

Thanks for the message.

Have you noticed what causes this disappearing?

How often does the Visual Studio icon disappear from the taskbar?

Best regards.

Just got the licensed pro version of AMM after I tried it out and realized it's worth.  =)

My setup is thus:

4 Monitors
 1) HP EliteBook 8560p             1600 x  900
 2) DoubleSight DS-90U USB Monitor 1024 x  600
 3) Samsung LD220g USB Monitor     1920 x 1080
 4) Samsung LD220g USB Monitor     1920 x 1080

Laid out as:
[1]..[3]..[4]
........[2]
[1] next to [3] next to [4]
and [2] under and between [3] and [4]

FYI : The 3 USB monitors only consume 1 single USB port and still leaves the VGA port for use should I need it.

One glitch seems to be when I click on SHOW WINDOWS SIDE BY SIDE.  All windows get put side by side which is quite useful except for Google's Chrome.  It doesn't get moved or considered.

Any ideas?

Hello Michael.

This behaviour is caused by the specificity of the Chrome window. Chrome ignores these commands (side-by-side, cascade etc.) regardless of our program.

Best regards.
