Hi actual tools team and forum,

Unfortunately, the feature "Scroll Inactive Windows" does not work with multiple Microsoft Word 2003 windows. It works when only one word document is open. however, as soon as multiple Word documents are open, only the last one (that was active) is scrolled, even if another Word document is under the mouse pointer.

It would be great if this could be fixed.

Best regards
David.P

Hi actual tools team and forum,

I was wondering whether the problem with "inactive window scrolling" when multiple Word windows are open has been fixed in the meantime?

Thanks for an update,
David.P

Thanks  Vasiliy.

So is the issue on the list, i.e. is there a ticket such that it will be eventually solved?

David,

The issue is on the list. But the task has a low priority because the version of MS Office is slightly obsolete. We'll inform you if/when the problem will be fixed.

Best regards.

Thanks Vasiliy.

Have you checked whether the problem does not occur with newer versions of Microsoft Office?

I would suppose that it still does occur, because the underlying window controls should be similar or still the same with Office versions later than 2003.

If this should be the case, the problem would not be limited to old versions of MS Office, and possibly should receive higher priority.

David,

I was unable to reproduce the problem with MS Word 2010.

Best regards.

OK Vasiliy, so I hope the issue still gets addressed nevertheless.
