I'm trialing AMM, so far I like it.  But can't get Battlefield 3 to work with Ignore Deactivation hotkey.  The mouse moves to the 2nd monitor but as soon as I click on anything other than the game, it instantly gets minimized.  I'd like to be able to keep BF3 maximized and still have access to my desktop apps.

Hello gentlemen,

Thanks for the post.

We're trying to solve this problem.

The "Ignore deactivation" feature on an application startup solves the same problem with battlefield: bad company 2.

Unfortunately, Actual Multiple Monitors doesn't have the "Ignore deactivation" feature on an application startup.
But you could try to use this feature with a trial version of Actual Window Manger ( you could download it from http://www.actualtools.com/files/aimsetup.exe ).

Best regards.

Hello Peter.

Have you tried to use the ignore deactivation for Battlefield 3 on the latest version of Actual Multiple Monitors?

Best regards.

Hello Peter.

Have you tried to use the compatibility mode for the Ignore Deactivation feature (Hotkeys > Ignore Deactivation > Compatibility mode option at the bottom of the tab)?

Let me know whether it helps or not.

Best regards.

Hey Bogdan

still the same with Compatibility mode. A good ide to try it yourself. Because the way you open BF3 over "battlelog" a browser site, start the game.

And alot of new games do it that way.

Hello Peter.

Unfortunately, Ignore Deactivation (and other hotkeys) don't work with this game due to specificity of the Battlefield 3 window Ignore Deactivation (and other hotkeys) don't work with this game.

We'll try to implement the support of the hotkeys for this kind of windows.

Best regards.
