I have the taskbar enabled on the 2nd monitor and when I maximize a window, it maximizes to the size of the entire screen. The bottom part of the window is hidden underneath the taskbar. I want it to treat the taskbar as an edge of the screen just like it does on the main monitor. Do I have something set wrong?

I noticed that this was not fixed in today's update (6.4 beta 1). Is this planned to be fixed in a future release? Any ETA? Thanks!

Hello Will,

This will be fixed in the next beta or in the version 6.4.
The version 6.4 will be realized in the end of January.

Version 6.4 was released today and this bug is still not fixed. Is it just too difficult to fix or is it not a high priority? I am making my purchase decision based on whether you fix this bug or not. Thanks!

Hello Will,

Sorry, but we hadn't enough time to fix it.

We had some more important tasks.

But we still plan to fix it in one of nearest versions.

Best regards.

[The below problem was resolved using the instructions from this thread: http://www.actualtools.com/forum/read.php?FID=10&TID=1343&MID=5993#message5993 ]

I do not know if this is related, but I am still seeing an odd window placement error when I extend a window across two monitors.  For some reason, there is a gap (roughly the height of the titlebar buttons) on the right monitor between the top of that monitor and the top of the window.  If you move the window to align with the top of the right monitor, the top of that same window now is above the top of the left monitor and is not viewable.  I attempted to take a screen shot of the problem, but the resultant image displays the gap across the entire window (even on the left).  The window was aligned with the top of the left monitor (by hand or by use of the AWM Position button).  There should be no gap on either monitor or in the screen shot.

Why does the right monitor display the same window lower than the left monitor?

1. Align the top of a window with the top of the monitor on the left.
2. Move the window so that part is on the left monitor, and part is on the right monitor.
3. Observe that the top of the window is still aligned with the top of the left monitor.  However, the top of the SAME window is not aligned with the top of the right monitor.

Confirming that the original issue with maximized windows behind hidden by the task bar on the secondary monitor is still an issue in Actual Tools v6.6

It has now been over 9 months since I reported this issue. I find it quite troubling that you still have not found time to fix this.
