Hello,

is it possible to instruct a window to close to the system tray when pressing the window close button?
I do not see any related option in the Closing section of a window's specific settings page.

Hello Michael.

You can find this option on the "Minimizing" tab.

For more info follow this link.

Best regards.

Thanks for the reply, Mr. Bogdan.

I am aware of that option, but I would like to minimize to tray via the close button, and if I set minimization mode to Tray, then the normal Minimize button minimizes to tray too.

So to make my question clearer: how can I tell AWM to minimize a window to the Taskbar but at the same time close/minimize a window to the system tray via the window's Close button?

Ok, now i see. Unfortunately there's no ability to set this behaviour for the particular window. You can set it here: ("Mouse" tab -> Actions), but these actions will work for most of the windows. Is it enough for your needs?

The AltMin title button is already doing the job for individual windows, I was just wondering if the native close button can be instructed to do the same without influencing normal application minimization. If minimization to system tray could be added in the future to the Closing section it would be good.

This is not something very important, just a minor aspect, so thank you for taking the time to reply.
