Just to clarify, I don't mean the little box when hovering on the task icon is too fast. I mean that when that does pop up and I am moving my mouse past it to an actual open window, it blanks out all of the windows (except that task) almost immediately. On the regular Winders taskbar, if you hover over a task and then on the preview that pops up, it takes a moment (half a second or so) before it will do this.
Step by step of what I'm doing.
1. Mouse on taskbar, hovering on a task (for whatever reason)
2. Small preview comes up a moment later, as expected
3. Deciding to move mouse to another part of the screen, mouse pointer goes across the small preview towards spot I want to move it to.
4. As soon as it's on the small preview, all windows 'vanish' except the task for the small preview.
5. After moving past the small preview, all windows are restored.
Doing this on the regular Winders task bar, step 4 (and thus step 5) wouldn't happen unless I let the mouse pointer rest on the small preview for a moment. I'd like to mimic that behavior.
I've looked through the settings and the only thing that I find affects the timing of the small preview but not the entire desktop going transparent upon hovering on the small preview.

Wolfie,
Thank you for the report.
What version of AMM do you use? What's your Windows version/edition?

Windows 7 Professional with SP1 installed, 64 bit
AMM 3.4.2
Would this happen to be a bug then?

Yes, it was a bug. It has been fixed in the recent 4.0 beta 2.
