Hello,
i am very happy using Actual Window Manager, but since last upd ate (6.5) i had to rollback to 6.4 because the profile switch is no more working in my se tup.

OS:
  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Service Pack 1 (All Updates)

Video:
  • Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT (Driver Version 266.58)

ThirdParty System Software:
  • Eset NOD32
  • Netlimiter 3 64bit

No other monitor or window manager installed

Monitors:
  • 1. Eizo 24" (60Hz max refresh rate, native resolution 1920x1200) (Primary Video Output)
  • 2. ViewSonic 22" (120Hz max refresh rate, native resolution 1680x1050);

Profiles:
  • 1. Dual Monitors (both @60Hz, 32bit colors, no rotation, native resolutions on both, aligned on bottoms, with individual wallpaper on each, primary monitor is #2)
  • 2. Single Monitor - Eizo 60Hz (Only #1 monitor @60Hz, 32bit colors, no rotation, native resolution, no wallpaper change, primary monitor is #1)
  • 3. Single Monitor - ViewSonic 120Hz (Only #2 monitor @120Hz, 32bit colors, no rotation, native resolution, no wallpaper change, primary monitor is #2)

Here is how to simulate this:

Switch from Profile #1 to #3 it changes for 1 sec and before the confirmation message appears the monitor se tup is back to profile #1 and then the confirmation message shows up, but no matter how i response to it the profile remains as #1.

Switching from #1 to #2 or from #2 to #1 is OK, this makes me think that its refresh rate relevant.

I was very happy seeing the profile switch keyboard shortcut in the new version (6.5), but the issue appears no matter when i use shortcut or manual from the menu. This issue is not present in older version (6.4) whatsoever.

Hope this description is in help for the developers. And i am opened for any support or feedback if needed, the e-mail in my forum  profile is the same as my billing, which was used in the order invoice.

Greets.

Sorry for the late answer i didn't receive an email with notification about the topic update.

As i can see the topic is marked as fixed, however i didn't managed to reproduce a working solution with version 6.6. The old version of the application was uninstalled and re installed with the new one. Settings were restored from the backup, but the problem was still there. Also tried to remove the old profiles and create new one with the new version, but the result was same.

Anyway its not so big deal i can live with it :) (my be i will change my old monitor with new one with same refresh rate).

I am happy to say that the upcoming version 6.7 (which at the moment is in beta) solves completely the issue :)

[-] Windows 7: Switching monitors on/off via desktop profiles did not work
   in some cases.
