The program that's giving me trouble is one that, most likely, very few people use. It's called VADIS and is the Volvo Aftersales Diagnostic and Information Service, which is what the Volvo dealers use for all their service manuals, etc.

VADIS wants to run full-screen, and the restore button is grayed out. If I force it to resize by right-clicking on the AWM resize title button and selecting a size, the resulting window cannot be dragged, and the contents of the window remain the same size they were prior to resizing the window, and there are no scroll bars. Also, the title bar menu isn't available. Clicking, left-clicking, or double clicking the title bar has no effect.

I set up a rule that moves the VADIS window from the primary monitor (1920 x 1200) to the secondary monitor (1280 x 1024). However, even though I've got Fit Target Monitor checked, and the window itself is the correct size for the secondary monitor (1280 x 1024), the contents of the window remain the same size they were on the primary monitor, so I can only see part of the contents, and there are no scrollbars.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for working around this problem.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for the post.

Could you create Specific settings for the VADIS window and turn on the "Change standard window parts" option (Actual Window Manager -> Window Settings -> Startup -> Change standard window parts) with "Border and title bar", "Resizable frame" and "Title bar's icon and buttons" = "add"?

Please, inform me about your results.

Best regards.
