I need some help having Total Commander open maximized using AWM.
Here's how I currently have things setup
1. On the Startup Pane I have:
- ALIGN is enabled and set to Top Left
- OPEN AS is set to Minimized)
This works. When I restart my station TC is open and minimzied to the in the system tray. So far so good.
2. On the Position pane I have:
- ALIGN AT STARTUP enabled and set to Top Left (vertical and horizontal entries are both set to 0).
3. On the Sizing pane I have:
- Fix minimal size set to the pixel size of my screen (1288 x 1004). (I've also tried 100% by 100%)
The problem is when I open TC from its tray icon for the first time it opens with the top left corner somewhere in the middle of the screen and half the window off the screen.
What settings should I be using to have TC open maximized from its tray icon.
Thanks.
Regards,
Charles

Hello Charles,
Thanks for the post and sorry for the late response.
Could you send me your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support)?
Best regards.

Not a problem. I can't complain about the support at Actual Tools.
I assume when I send the config file you'll know it's from me <grin>
I have made some changes to AWM for the TC window since my original post and it now sort of works.
TC now opens minimized when my system starts as it did before. When I open it from the tray it opens as a resizable window to the size of the screen. I'd like it to open maximized.
Btw, if I maximize the TC window manually, minimize it to the tray, and then open it again from the tray icon, it opens maximized. It just doesn't open maximized the first time it is opened from the tray icon.
---
I'm getting an error message when I try to send the config file. Can I send it somewhere manually?
Regards,
Charles

Hello Charles,
Thanks for the message.
You cold use the "Open as" option = "Maximized" and the "Run keyboard macro" option = " <Win+.> " (Minimize to tray) on the "Startup" tab.
Hope this helps.
An error message you could send to support@actualtools.com .
Best regards.

Works like a charm.
Fantastic software. Fantastic support. Probably in the top 5 I've dealt with. Keep up the good work.
Regards,
Charles
