WinXP PRO SP3
Multiple Monitors 3.1
On my secondary monitor, the Start button frequently disappears. My settings are:
- Enable multi-monitor taskbar - checked
- Mirror the primary taskbar - unchecked
- Show the start button - checked
This taskbar is also set to auto-hide. Any other settings I should look at?
I noticed I can make it reappear by locking/unlocking the taskbar. Any suggestions welcome--thank you!

Hello Z Reynolds,
Thanks for the post.
Does this problem occur with the multi-monitor taskbar only?
Could you send me a screenshot of the problem?
Best regards.

Thank you for the response. It took a while for the button to disappear again, of course
But here is my screenshot attached. The primary taskbar is always fine. Another detail is the primary taskbar is not set to autohide, while the secondary taskbar is set to autohide.

Hello Z Reynolds,
I can't reproduce the problem.
Please try to investigate what actions lead to this problem.
Best regards.
