Hi,

I ahve the latest version of AWM, Windows 7 64bits and Windows Media Player 12.

I want WMP 12 to be of a certain size everytime I open it and still be able to resize it while running the video.

Please see the screenshot as to how I configured AWM in order to achieve my goal.

The thing is that is doesn't work at all. Not only does WMP resize NOT, but it has a weird behavior. For instance:
- If I want to get the video full screen, I have only a piece of the video at the top left corner and the player at the bottom right
- Video has a black "veil" on it
Etc...

What is the solution to have WMP 12 to have a certain size everytime I launch a video please?

N.B.: I tried with many videos, it is not the video's fault.

Thank you

Hello Tierix,

Please, create two specific settings for WMP 12 with a certain size.

Specific settings 1.
Target Window tab:
Window class -  WMP Skin Host
Uncheck Window caption
Program - C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe

Specific settings 2.
Target Window tab:
Window class - WMPlayerApp
Uncheck Window caption
Program - C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe

Please, inform me about your results.

fist, thanks for your reply.

i'm afraid it does not work. I specified the exact same size on both specific settings (starup) but it just won't resize at startup. The only way is to create a button. When I click on it, it does resize but not at startup...

any other ideas please?
thanks

Hello Tierix,

What exact version of Windows Media Player 12 do you have?

Please, send me your configuration files (File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support).

Hello Tierix,

Please try to use the "Fix maximal size to" option (but you will not be able to resize Windows Media Player) or create a hotkey to resize the window manually.

That's all I can advise you.

We'll investigate this problem.
