Hi,
Specs:
- WinXp SP3
- AWM 6.4b2
- 2 monitors are set to work independently
Description:
Clicking the start button on a monitor will popup the menu which is correct. However, moving the mouse (with the start menu still open) on the other monitor and clicking the second start button, will make the start menu "teleport" from one monitor to the other in an endless loop, or until you click somewhere.
Cheers,
C

Hello Corneliu,
I can't reproduce this problem on my computer.
Does this problem reproduce every time?
Do you use other software working with your taskbar?
Could you send me your configuration files (File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support) and make a screenshot of your Taskbar settings on the Multiple Monitors tab?
Best regards.

Hi,
- yes i can reproduce it every time, computer reboot included.
- only app used in conjunction with AWM is VistaSwitcher (
http://www.ntwind.com/software/vistaswitcher.html
), but the "problem" still appears after closing it
- you should find a mail with the subject: Configuration Files <Clicking the start button on both monitors bug>
EDIT:

Let me know if you need anything else.

Hello Corneliu,
The video, which the link you gave me to, is private.
Please, open access to this video.
Could you send me a screenshot of your Windows Task Manager (Processes tab)?
Best regards.

Hi Vasiliy,
you should now be able to access the video.
This seems to be related to the "Replace the primary taskbar" option on the "Multi monitor" tab, because if you disable the option it does not happen.
I've sent you a mail (I couldn't find an "attach" option in the forums) having attached a text file with the processes currently running, created with ProcessExplorer because the list was rather long and difficult to obtain with the plain old TaskManager.
cheers,
C
