Hi,
sorry to ask this here but I just haven't been able to solve this problem, yet.
I am working on a webserver using a piece of software that includes all the loooong path in the title of the window. That's fine and I need it.
On the other hand, all links shown on the windows-task-bar just show the identical text, i.e. the start of the path, because all the file in several directories very deep down a indentical branch of directories. It looks somewhat like this:
/var/users/customers/test/mysoftware/theme/mytheme/modules/m
ymodule.php
/var/users/customers/test/mysoftware/theme/mytheme/modules/c
ss/mymodule.css
in the tastbar it look like this:
/var/users/customers/test/mys... /var/users/customers/test/mys...
Now imagine this with 10 to 20 files? Which one is which?
What I would love Actual Windows to do is to rename the windows automatically. But how do I set this up? I don't mind renaming each file manually once, but once only, please.
Currently I do it manually all the time, but the path offered to me in the quick view dialogue does not allow for sufficient characters thus I have to retipe the filename every time. That's bad. Has nobody every developed on a webserver? Never mind. I just need the path to be longer.
I appreciate any help!
Kind regards,
John
