I've been a registered user for a while now, but when I booted this morning it said I had 26 days left in my trial version.

And my activation code does not work, invalid combination.

I have the same error, I emailed support@actualtools.com about this three days ago but haven't received a reply yet. I just came her to reiterate my laments on the forum too, for maximum chance of getting noticed (out of despair).  :|

I'm not sure whether to think it's good or bad that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

Not sure if this is related, but I loaded AMW on 2 PCs about a week ago, one at home and one at work. Yesterday (Sunday for me) the one at home started popping up a window saying I was in day 26 of my 23 day evaluation. That is running Vista and it shows I loaded the software on July 25 2009. So I thought it was a Vista thing. Then when I got to work today it was also doing it on that PC which is running XP.

Seems they have a time stamp check wrong some where no matter if you are running a registered version or an evaluation version.

This does not go well for my evaluation of this product.

I just hope I hear something either here or via email soon.  Once you lose the product you realize how much you actually did use the features...

UPDATE: :!:

I was reading through some of the latest posts, and noticed that tatiana mentioned that they changed the AWM installation and provided a link for it.

I download that installation, installed it, and then entered my authorization name and code and everything seems to be working again.

Keeping fingers crossed...

I had downloaded the aimsetup.exe file last Monday July 27 2009 and installed it. Yesterday, Monday August 3 2009 I stared getting the window that stated I was in day 26 of 23 day evaluation when ever I selected configuration. Before I don't think I was getting anything.

I just went to the download page and downloaded the file again. This time it is 4K larger. When I installed it and started AWM it now states I am in day 9 of my 60 day evaluation.

So something has changed.

It would be nice to know what is going on.

Gentlemen,

The previous installation of AWM 5.4 final because of some awful misunderstanding was assembled with the options we usually use for our beta versions; that's why it has stopped working on August 1 (the supposed end of working of the last beta 3) disregarding the registration code (it's the normal mode for our beta versions but, of course, it's unacceptable for final versions).

Now everything's OK. Please accept our official apologies for this mistake and all inconveniences it caused.

Most companies would take weeks to fix an issue like this (or any issue really).

Yes, thank you.

I am evaluating this software and when this first happened I thought oh no, is this an example of the stability of the software. But the quick response and fix has made me feel a lot better about things and is moving me closer to making the purchase.

So just to confirm the fix is to download 5.4 again?

(Mine says it is time expired and still will not accept the registration code)
