Hello everyone,
After upgrading to Actual Window Manager 8.15.2, the Clipboard History pop-up would not appear. Nothing happened. Tried disabling/enabling the feature, clearing the clipboard, changing the keyboard shortcut. No luck.
However, I just managed to solve it. I had to delete ClipboardHistory.dat and restart AWM. It now seems to work normally. I'll post here if it reoccurs.

I'll post here a slightly different issue. It's not related to the above.
I often backup my AWM configuration from my main PC (1920x1080 monitor) and restore it to my laptop (1366x768). I just noticed that on the laptop, the Clipboard History pop-up does appear (it is on the Taskbar) but it goes off screen and is not visible, or accessible.
It can be brought back in with the Alt+Space+Move method, but perhaps this could be improved. Thanks.

The issue described in the first post reappeared.
Perhaps there's a bug in version 8.15.2 which more frequently corrupts the ClipboardHistory.dat file?

Thank you for a follow-up.
There is nothing specific in 8.15.2 that relates to the Clipboard History feature (probably, only if
very
indirectly).
It would be great if you could find the specific conditions/actions that force the issue to reappear (to fix it, we have to reproduce it so we need something to start with).
Thank you!

I couldn't reproduce it, so I assume it was something random/unimportant.
Please consider post #2 above about importing settings into different resolutions, and also something else:
I noticed the Clipboard history pop-up will often "reset" its size (not sure about position), usually after a PC restart, so I have to manually resize (=enlarge) it frequently.
Please consider making it always remember its previous size/position, no matter what the current clipboard contents are.

Sorry, I'm back to the original issue since it did not go away after all.
I do put the PC to "Sleep" fairly often, and I just noticed the issue now occurred (i.e. the pop-up does not appear) after "waking" the PC.
I did another sleep/wake test (after fixing the issue, as described in 1st post) but it did not occur this time.

Hello, more&more
As for the original issue: what type of data you usually copy and whether there are data pieces of unusually large size among the ones you copy? The data types that are gathered in clipboard history are plain text, formatted text, file system object (file, list of files, folder, link, etc.), picture (graphic bitmap).
Could you pay attention to whether the problem is associated with some particular data type you copy prior to the problem happening?
Also please specify the exact number of your Windows build: type winver in the Search field of the Windows Start menu, press Enter. The window containing the build number will appear.

It's usually the various types of text, but pictures too sometimes. Not extremely large, approximately between 0.3 - 5MB.
I will try to pay attention. I can't really reproduce it. I think that after deleting ClipboardHistory.dat and restarting AWM, the pop-up will show again the current clipboard contents, but I'm not 100% sure on this. Will pay attention next time.
