Hello, Jeremy

I apologize for the delay in replying to you.

we would like to know whether you plan to address the system tray issue soon
Yes, we're currently working on the problem with tray in Actual Multiple Monitors/Actual Window Manager in Windows 11. Most likely it will be fixed in the next version which we now plan to release by the end of December.

Best regards.

It has been a long time since "end of December". Can we expect an Actual Multiple Monitors update soon?

Our sincere apologies to everyone who's been waiting for the update - unfortunately, it took more time than expected

The update is finally live now, please check it out.

Yay, System Tray Icons are back in 8.15.1 - Thank you.

Is there a way to choose which icons are always shown? I would actually like to always show Actual Multiple Monitors icon, but don't see a way to choose. Tried Windows Setup menus (Win 11), AMM configuration window, drag and drop (which works on the native Win 11 tray / icons) - nothing allows this that I can see. Using the carat to open the Other icons, I can drag in there to reorder, but can't drag from the Other items popup to the always-shown area.

I haven't found a way to move the tray items, but they're a very welcome addition.
I too have that Windows Security shield and I'd really rather not see it.

I'm hoping the next upd ate fixes the lockscreen display issues.
I can se t separate wallpapers for each monitor, but when it's locked I only see the main monitor's image and then when I'm at the lockscreen entering my username and password the secondary monitor's display comes up, but the lockscreen has the default windows picture.
I know a lot of this is on Microsoft for totally changing the codebase without much warning, but it's sad that considering how long Win 11 has been out, I still wish I had my Windows 7 computer running because everything worked perfectly on it.

System tray icons ARE back, but be sure and read the revision history. Some of the icon functionality (like right-click on some icons) is not working, but Actual Tools knew this and chose to launch the revision anyway and note the ongoing functionality issues in the release notes. I do appreciate this approach, though. Since I've been waiting for tray icons for so long, I'm glad they didn't delay the revision even further because there were still things not working.

I agree. And I ALWAYS read the revision history. It was actually Actual Window Manager Release Notes where I first saw "Directory Opus". I looked up that program and have owned and LOVED it ever since. It's the most extensive file browser I've ever used and there are so many options. It took me many hours to go through all the options and customize it, but man it works EXACTLY how I want a file explorer to work.

I appreciate them releasing early too. Especially since my subscription was up on 5/2 and I wouldn't have even considered renewing it without a more recent update that the last one that was something like 10 months ago. Hopefully the other things can get worked out in an update that comes out more quickly then the last couple have.
