 Maybe there is a quick fix to this, but I cannot seem to figure it out (I'm pretty new to the program).

I have two virtual desktops, and I have IE7 set to open to all virtual desktops on startup.  I also have the minimize function set to Taskbar with no other options selected.  When I minimize the explorer window (with either the actual windows buttons or the default windows button), I cannot see it on any taskbar other than the first desktop in the virtual desktop list.

Any help would be appreciated!

After messing around with this for a while it appears that it works correctly now that I have rebooted.  I guess I was expecting immediate 'results'.

Should I expect to have to reboot for a lot of these changes to actually take place?

Not sure I understood your last question right.

Is the described problem persistent or intermittent? Could you describe the repeatable sequence of actions so that we could reproduce the problem on our test machine? Thank you.

 I've tried to replicate the problem, but I can't seem to do it.  Maybe it was a one time thing, but I'll try to explain what happened.

I created a new specific rule for IE7.  In the startup property of this rule I selected move to virtual desktop|All desktops.  When I would launch IE7 in virtual desktop 1, and then change to desktop 2, the window would be visible, but as soon as I minimized the window on desktop 2 it would not appear on the taskbar (or in the tray or on the screen if those options were selected).  Switching back to desktop 1, IE7 would appear minimized in the taskbar (or other options) just fine.

I had to reboot for another reason and when I came back to check out the functions of AWM it seemed to be working as I would expect, minimizing a window that is avaialable on all desktops would result in moving to the taskbar or other option you selected, within all desktops.
