Hi,
it happens a lot to me that I start a program (or it gets started by another process) and then AWM moves it to the virtual desktop, position etc. as configured, but it starts either minimized or behind other windows, mostly the latter I think).
I was very surprised that I could not find an option to focus (= put to foreground) a window on start.
Did I miss something or is this really not possible?
Thank you!
Best, Martin

There is no such option in Actual Window Manager, as usually all newly opened windows are put to foreground.
Please make sure the actions "Send to bottom" and "Open as > Minimized" are not enabled in the settings that are applied to the windows you have this problem with (Configuration module > Window Settings > Default Settings/particular Specific Seettings > Startup).
To go to the settings that are applied to particular window click the “Manage window settings” title button (Wrench icon) or the extra window menu item with the same name and then click the "Modify applied settings" item of the opened submenu.
If the actions are disabled but the problem still persists, then please check whether the problem persists if Actual Window Manager is not launched.
Also specify what exactly programs have you noticed this problem with?
