This is actually the same as another user posted on 25-11-2015 "I have Windows 10 and Office 2016. I am unable to minimise the Office 2016 Windows using the normal control box at the top right of the window because the Actual Multiple Monitors screen switch control is always on top of the Minimise control."

In my case I am setting up a new laptop running Win10x64 and a new installation of Office 2016. I installed Actual Window Manager 8.9.2, and after a few attempts at shifting the AMM controls to the side a little I searched the forums here.

Found the 25-11-2015 that was marked solved on 17-1-2016, but the instructions there for the workaround don't fit my menus in v8.9.2.

May have been some updates to Win10 or Office that interfered with the fix in v8.7.

Would be glad to provide details if that would help debug.

Scott,

Yes, there were some updates to Win10 and Office. The issue is fixed in the upcoming update 8.10, please be patient.

It's also worth pointing out that the AMM controls include a "Minimize to tray" that is better than the normal windows control. The AMM version puts a small icon in the systray, which takes up a fraction of the space that a normal minimized window indicator requires.

So while it is convenient to have non-overlapping controls, the only one that is totally obscured still has a better replacement in the Actual Tools menu.
