Hi actual tools support team,
yesterday I installed Windows 10 fresh from scratch. Since then, I have major problems with some functions of Actual Windows Manager.
The most serious problem is that PDF-XChange Editor does not appear when it is started, unless I first start PDF-XChange Editor and afterwards Actual Windows Manager. If Actual Windows Manager already runs and PDF-XChange Editor is started, it can be seen in task manager, but its window does not appear.
Another problem is that special window settings that I have created for many programs almost never work anymore. Sometimes they work program startup, but most of the times not even there. Also if I choose "reapply settings" from the respective title bar button, nothing happens most of the time. Sometimes the program is moved and resized, but to a completely different monitor and a completely different size.
Please advise because this is crucial for getting my work done.
Thank you.
David.P

Hello, David
What version of Actual Window Manager are you running?
Do you mean you've imported the configuration files from your previous system? What system were you running before?
What version of PDF X-Change Editor are you running?

What applications do you have this problem with?
Could you check whether the right Settings are applied to particular applications (the "Manage window settings" title button or the window menu item > the first item of the submenu contains the name of the applied settings).

Hi Bogdan and thank you for your reply. I actually had sent you the complete config files via e-mail.
Can you have a look into the config files? At the moment, it seems that mainly PDF-XChange Editor is affected: it does not follow the rules that I have set up in AWM for it anymore at all.

We were unable to find your email message containing the files. Could you please send the configuration files again to support@actualtools.com?

David,
We haven't recieved any email message from you. Are you sure it was sent? Is the new email message created when you press the Send to Tech Support button?
Please make sure that the email address is specified correctly.

I have sent the file 2 times, see for example screenshot below
Note that I had to change the file extension from zip to txt because Gmail would not allow to send zipped files.

David,
Apparently, Gmail still doesn't allow sending the files even when you change its resolution. Could you try to send the files from any non-gmail email address? Please add a link to this topic to the email.
Best regards.

I have the same problem. It's most annoying when I use the hotkey to move a window to another desktop divider. It goes through these weird size changes and sometimes refuses to land in the divider as I've set it.
