Configuration:
Active Virtual Desktops 8.8.2
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Build 10586
Mozilla Firefox 46.0.1
AVD Configuration file attached
Dual monitors:
Monitor 1: AOC E2752V in landscape (1920x1050)
Monitor 2: HP w2408H in portrait (1200x1920)
On monitor 2, Mozilla Firefox -
Position: X: 1920
Y: 170
Size: Width: 1200, Height 1780
Actions:
Switch to next virtual desktop
Switch back to original virtual desktop
On monitor 2, Mozilla Firefox -
Position: X: 1920
Y: 280
Size: Width: 1200, Height 1780
This places the bottom of the Firefox window off the screen and I then have to move the Firefox window back up to its original position.
Thank you for your help.

Hello, Tom
Only image files can be attached to the forum messages, so your configuration files wasn't attached. Could you send it to our email address support@actualtools.com?
Does it happen only with the Firefox window?
Could you check whether the problem persists with
the latest version of Actual Virtual Desktops 8.8.3
.
Please also temporarily change the mode of monitor 2 to landscape and check whether the problem persists in this case?
Best regards.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Email with configuration sent.
Does it happen only with the Firefox window?
I've tried several other programs and so far only Firefox.

I clicked on the link you provided but version 8.8.3 is not there.

Yes, it does. In this case, Firefox is shifted to the left.

For now I'm unable to reproduce the problem using your configuration files.
Does the Firefox window move this way each time or it moves only once, if you perform these actions (switch from the desktop with Firefox to other desktop, switch back to the "Firefox" desktop) repeatedly during one Actual Virtual Desktops session?
Does the problem depend on the size of the Firefox window and on what web pages are open?

I was checking on your questions when it occurred to me that I am running a utility called Window Manager by DeskSoft. The utility allows me to set the position and size of a window when it opens. I doesn't (usually) affect already opened windows. Disabling Window Manager eliminated the problem.
I'll have to do some more investigation to determine where the interaction with AVD and Window Manager breaks down.
Thank you for your help.
