It auto unmaximize on maximize if AWM is active. I have no Specific Settings (yes, list is empty), almost default config.
System: Win 10 x64, AWM 8.6.2
Waiting issue confirmation.

The problem has been confirmed, we'll try to fix it.
What triggers this is the presence of AWM title buttons on the program's title bar. As workaround, you can create specific settings for Visual Studio Code and disable title buttons in it – the program will be maximized properly.
