What is the best way to deal with the notifications icon being overridden by the actual multi monitor buttons.

Hello Craig,
Thanks for the post.
You are able to adjust the "Shift the buttons horizontally" option (Actual Window Manager -> Window Settings -> Specific Settings -> MS Visual Studio -> Title Buttons tab -> Shift the buttons horizontally) to avoid the issue.
