I have two monitors connected to my PC. On the primary monitor I use a static background image, and on the secondary monitor I use the slideshow option pointing to a custom photo directory.
Since upgrading to 8.2, while the slideshow option can be set correctly using the
Background
options and will survive a reboot, going back into that options page and selecting the second monitor under
Individual picture on each monitor
shows the background mode as Static with no picture selected.
Note that this doesn't affect the actual operation of the feature. It's just that, unlike previous versions, the
Background
options page for the second monitor shows default/blank settings rather than the settings actually in use.

the 8.2.2
is available now.
