When the parent program is open in a secondary monitor it's sub windows and/or menus open on the primary monitor. How do I get the sub windows to open on the same screen as the parent program

Dear Byron,
thank you for your post!
This is probably happening because you have set Actual Multiple Monitors to move that windows to a certain monitor on its startup. This could be set in Default Settings like this:
and/or in Specific Settings.
Please read this
article about window rules
to understand better.
To move windows to the desired monitor you should:
find out what rule is currently set for this particular window;
open that rule at Actual Multiple Monitors -> Window Settings ->... ; and
adjust the
Move to monitor
option at its
Startup
tab.
Best regards!

Is there a difference between selecting "Exactly specified Monitor 1" and "Primary" or are the results always the same?
Sincerely,
Lars

Thank you for your post, Lars!
There aren't any hidden capabilities of this option, and it should be taken literally. If Monitor 1 is your Primary monitor, there will be no difference. If you mark another monitor as Primary, windows will be moved to that monitor.
Best regards.

Thanks Alexander, I just wanted to make sure the behavior is identical.
Sincerely,
Lars
