I tested with various Windows of different applications.
I Setup a window rule that have Option "minimize on [X] Close button" in order to prevent the application from quitting.
Does not work!? The applications quit nevertheless...

Could you please specify the version of the Windows you use and its bitness?
Also, is it Actual Window Manager 8.2 that you are using?
Anyway, I haven't managed to reproduce the issue in Windows 8.1 and if you are using it as well, then please send us your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> Tools -> Configuration -> Send to Tech Support) with a reference to this thread.
