I have 3 monitors, and in past versions clicking the "Move to Next" button in the window titlebar would move (correctly) to the next monitor to the right (and to the left one when it was already at the right).

However, after upgrading to 8.1.1, "Move to Next" moves to the the next logical monitor as numbered by Windows. As Windows has my monitors numbered as [2] [1] [3] using the "Move to Next" doesn't give the results I expect.

Thanks.

Same problem here. I have 3 monitors. Based on the identity Windows gives them I have them arranged as 1,3,2. When I go to the Monitors Layout and Settings section in the Actual Window Manager configuration tool I can see that I have them arranged as 1,3,2. However, when I click the next monitor button it cycles through 1,2,3 (the order of the Windows identity) so that when starting on the left monitor it goes to the right and then the center. That is really confusing. It should cycle the monitors in the order you have them arranged in the Monitors Layout and Settings section. That would make a lot more sense. Physically rearranging the monitors on my desk is not an option for me.

I just tested 8.1.2 and the problem remains.

Feedback from the developers, please!

Hello gentlemen,

Thanks for the post.

We'll consider adding the option to use the monitors layout (from left to right, from top to bottom) for the Move to monitor feature.

Best regards.
