My primary monitor keeps switching to the secondary on boot up of the computer and then the windows does not detect the primary monitor. The only way to get it back to the primary is to detach the secondary monitor and then it goes back to the primary. Has anyone had this issue?
I am running Actual window manager 7.5.1. My computer is running Windows 7, two monitors (25 inch monitor as primary and 60 inch TV as secondary)I have a NVIDIA video card. The primary monitor is displayed in windows as number two and primary. Windows will not let me change the display to be number one.
This issue does not happen all the time. When it boot to the secondary monitor in the Actual window manager it does not have the secondary monitor as the primary but it does not detect the primary.
Any help would be appreciated

Hello Mark.
I don't really understand what the problem is. Do you mean the monitor that is initially the primary becomes the secondary on boot up and then windows does not detect it?
Let's call your monitors monitor 1 and monitor 2. Could you give me a step-by-step description of what happens to these monitors?

Could you clarify what does it mean? Are you describing here the situation when the problem doesn't appear?
Do you have Actual Window Manager set to Load at startup?
Best regards.

Yes, the monitor that is initially the primary becomes the secondary on boot up and then windows 7 does not detect the primary monitor. I do have Actual Window Manager load at startup.
Windows assigns my primary monitor as monitor 2 and monitor 1 is a tv. Both windows and Actual Window manager have monitor 2 as primary with monitor 1 as extend window desktop onto this monitor.

What I mean here is: When windows does not detect monitor 2 as the primary monitor. Actual Window manager still shows monitor 1 as the monitor that is the extended window desktop onto this monitor with no primary monitor. However, in windows monitor 1 was switched to be the primary monitor with no secondary monitor. If I click in windows to find other monitors it can not locate monitor 2. The only way to get monitor 2 detected is to disconnect monitor one and boot system back up using monitor 2 and once windows and Actual Window manager is running attach monitor 1.

Hello Mark
How often does it happen?
Are you sure the problem is associated with our software? Have you tried to disable the Load at startup option of AWM to see whether it helps?
Could you send us screenshots of the Windows Screen resolution tab and of the AWM Monitors Layout and Settings tab when the problem happens and when it doesn't?
Best regards.
